Our Adult Guidance and Information Service is available to help our learners make informed decisions about their education, career and employment paths. This service can greatly contribute to personal and professional development.
We offer a range of courses from level 1-6 on the National Framework of Qualifications on a full and part-time basis. Our courses are for learners who want to return to education and training in order to enhance their opportunity for employment, progress to further studies or develop new skills, and want to become more involved in their communities.

SOLAS, the state agency responsible for Further Education and Training (FET), announced over €200,000 in funding for Longford and Westmeath ETB, to support marginalised learners to access community education programmes in local communities, through €5 million in national Reach Funding.
The last couple of years saw Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board work closely with SETU, providing our tutors in FET with the opportunity to complete a Level 6 Certificate in Adult Literacy. This pilot is the first of
